The price of your deck really depends on how big it is. The bigger the deck, the more materials you’ll need and the higher the costs for design and construction will be. So, if you’re looking to go big, just know it’ll cost you a bit more!
Deck Style and Complexity
When planning your deck, consider its shape and intended purpose. Will you need stairs and railings? Do you have to remove an existing deck? What permits will you require? There are many factors to keep in mind during the planning process, and remember that each additional feature can increase the overall cost.
Deck Materials Being Used
Different types of wood have varying costs. Pressure-treated wood and composite materials are popular choices for decking, with composite wood generally being a bit more expensive.
